Shuai Chiao
at The Ohio State University

Shuai Chiao Kungfu is one of the oldest styles of Kungfu, tracing its roots back over 3000 years. Today it is practiced as a martial arts discipline, an excellent form of self-defense, and a modern martial arts sport. At the OSU club we practice all of these aspects.     Club dues are only $30 per Semester

Edited message from the Sport Club Staff, 2-5-2021 <>

The University is now allowing in-person activities with strict guidelines:

Please remember that although gatherings of groups ten and smaller may begin on 2/12, any activities must be approved, and any type of direct contact will be prohibited. This will continue to be a phased in approach from an activity standpoint and will change dependent upon further guidance provided by the University.

In anticipation of returning to somewhat normal activities, we are asking each new or prospective Sport Club member complete all of their information on Do Sports Easy in advance of determining when we can be active again. This will help immensely when activities are approved again.  It is worth noting that any Sport Club (or student organization) that is found to be congregating and/or travelling during this time will be sent to Student Conduct and their Sport Club status with the University could be in jeopardy. No physical skill can be mastered without some direct physical instruction from a good teacher (sifu), especially in the martial arts, where mental integration and subtle muscle movements are common and essential.  But, basic forms can be a useful start to training, and elementary outer movements and principles can be learned from pictures and text.  Check out our
